Hi, everyone. My people left me home by myself for a long time today. And, then, my guy was home. But, my lady and girl weren't FOREVER. 😣 I don't like to be without all my people. Hi, everyone. You may have noticed that I have a few new changes and features on my blog. The main change is something you most likely have noticed. This is that the blog's name has changed. I feel the new name of "Meet Molly the Sheltie" is a better choice than the old one. Now, there are a few new pages. What has just been the main page is now "My Life Day by Day." That changed because I needed to add a name when I created the new pages. One of the new pages is a letter welcoming you and informing you about my blog if you are new. This page is called "Welcome to My Blog!!!" The second of the pages is a page that tells you a little about me. This page is titled "About Molly the Sheltie." Both of the new pages are geared towards new visitors to my blog. You can, of course, (and probably should) still read the pages. They are mostly saying the things I have said in past posts in case the new viewer doesn't want to look through ...

Hi, everyone. On July 31, it was Harry Potter's birthday. On that day, I figured out that I am the FIRST EVER and BEST EVER dog Seeker. Here are some pictures of me catching the golden snitch. I am going to practice more. Maybe some day I can make the first ever dog Quidditch team. I can find other dogs with hidden talent. I guess I do still need to learn how to fly a broom. Hi, everyone. I know this is a little late. I got back a while ago, but I have been really busy. Camping was so much fun. I ran around with my girl, chased mice, canoed, and kayaked. But, best of all, I found a log with a hole in it and tried to get at something hiding in it. I am back home now and happy as can be. That's all for now. Molly

Hi, everyone. I am going camping in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area till early next week. I am really excited to be in the outdoors and with my people. Last night, my girl made her bed and opened it up. I thought "thank you for the nice spot" and lay right down in it. My girl laughed and took a picture of me. Then she made me move. Hi, everyone. It is so good to have my world back to normal. So good to be cone free!!!!!!! Today I went back to my normal of playing and barking a lot. Here is a picture of me playing with my girl. Hi, everyone. My people suprised me by taking me to the vet. I thought the worst had happened and they were leaving me there. Then the person there took off my cone, and I was in the car going home. I thought at first they would let me drive, but then my moment of glory was gone. I sat on my girl's lap instead. It was actually really nice. Still wish I could have driven though. I hope I will never have to wear a cone again. Now I can go about my normal days. That's all for now. Molly

Hi, everyone. I still can't believe I am in this stupid cone. I look like I have a lamp shade on my head. I at least figured out how to go up stairs and do other things in my cone in a matter of hours. I am currently just trying to live life normally to spite my cone. Hi, everyone. Today, my people suprised me by taking me to the vet. I had surgery. I am fine now except for this stupid cone. I don't even know why I had surgery. I feel like I am in trouble, and my punishment is this cone. Most of all, I feel like I have clothes on. And, I hate clothes. Here is a picture of me in the cone. Hi, everyone. Today I have mostly been relaxing. With, of course, the usual barking necessary. I am just glad to be at home and with my girl. I have spent some time outside today as well. I am always happy to be outside. Everything is perfect today. I am at home, outside, with my girl, and most of all happy. The only thing that could make it better is a walk. Hi, everyone. Camping was really fun. They didn't forget me. I was afraid of the water when they swam. I was worried they would get me wet. I kayaked with my girl a little and took a ride in the canoe. I alerted my people to a toad and even a snake. I played my part well. On the way back, I got so thirsty that I had to drink out of a Subway cup on the edge of the road. I was so thirsty, and it had been a long day. When I got home, I was very glad to be home. I love camping, but it is a great feeling to be home after a trip. That is all for now. Molly 

Hi, everyone. The 4th of July is my least favorite holiday because of the fireworks. And, it even isn't just on the day. People keep setting them off for a long time. Fireworks are so loud and scary. Why do people think they are so great? They are one of the worst things ever. All that light that suddenly makes a noise that is worse than thunder.  Tomorrow, I get to go camping. I hope no one sets off fireworks there. I love going camping. It is such a thrill to be in the woods with my people. I always worry they will leave home without me. I follow them all around the house until they leave (hopefully with me). But, camping is the best thing for sure. Much better than fireworks.  This is my newest picture. I am by the back door asking to go out. I really wanted to go out because most of my people were outside.  That's all for now. Aaagh, another firework! Molly

Hello.  This weekend my girl walked a race. I was so upset when I learned it was a long walk I wasn't going on. Instead, I just got to stay in one place and wait for her to finish. I was very sad, but at least I got to go for a walk later. But, still I missed out.  Today's photo is me rolling over for my girl. She did a report on how she taught me tricks. I hope she got an A. Hello.  I have no clue why even during break my girl has to leave me for the day! Why!? I am at home alone like any other ordainary day. I don't understand the word break. I thought I have nothing better to do than write a post.  Today's photo is me on my girl's bed. That is all for now.  Molly

Today I am appreciating the word break. My girl is on a week-long spring break from school. My girl at home with me. Yay! I was so excited I forgot to say "hello". Hello. Today's post is also celebrating that last weekend on March 29 was my anniversary of four whole years with my people.  That day four years ago was the best day of my life. Over those next few weeks, I made new friends with dogs, people, and even a bunny. (My girl has a bunny named Daisy that is a few years older than me.) I was so busy lately that I forgot to tell you about my birthday. It is Febuary 9.  Today's photo is my new coat by my old sweater. I don't really like clothes, but I put up with it for my girl that I have had for four years. The best kind of clothes is a bandana.  I also went to the groomers this week. I don't like baths, but it felt good. I am really pretty. You can take a look.  That is all for now. Molly
